Azerbaijani Aggression on Armenian Border Raises Multiple Issues: Narek Malian
Narek Malian, the leader of the "VETO" movement, made a post on his Facebook page, noting that the Azerbaijani aggression on the Armenian border last week raised several issues.
The post states:
"During the past week, Azerbaijani aggression raised a number of issues on the Armenian border. Despite the fact that even the most radical opposition groups united around the state and the army, the Armenian authorities were still unable to provide a proper international response to the Azerbaijani aggression, especially since the enemy's attack was against Armenia's internationally recognized state borders. In other words, the war was against the Republic of Armenia, a recognized subject of international law and a full member of the UN. Other than the covert and smile-inducing statement made by the Guatemalan deputy spokesperson, the authorities were unable to secure any serious international response or support for Armenia.
Instead, at the hottest moment of the border conflict, our authorities organized fake smear campaigns against the opposition while ignoring the battle. I am not even talking about the jealous whispers concerning General Khachaturov, who was at the epicenter of the fighting and dealt a glorious blow to the Turks.
