Open Sources Report on Killed Azerbaijani Soldier

In the Azerbaijani online space, information is circulating that during the night of July 15 to 16, an Azerbaijani contractual soldier, Ismayilov Nazim Afghan oglu, was killed during battles in the Tavush-Tovuz direction, according to razm.info.

It is noted that Ismayilov was a resident of the Kolkhalfali village in the Agstafa region. As of now, official Azerbaijani sources have not released any statements regarding this loss.

Furthermore, the Azerbaijani branch of the BBC reported that the spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Vagif Dargyahlı, confirmed the information about the casualties in the Azerbaijani army and mentioned that detailed information would be provided.

It is important to recall that on July 16, around 03:40, the Armenian Armed Forces noticed the movement of the enemy. Transitioning to circular defense, the Armenian units thwarted an attempt by the enemy to infiltrate. After fierce fighting, the enemy was pushed back, suffering losses.
