Houses Damaged by Azerbaijani Gunfire to Be Repaired or Rebuilt, Says Tavush Governor
Houses damaged by gunfire from Azerbaijan in recent days will be repaired with state funds. If they are beyond repair, new houses will be constructed. This was announced today by Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan during a press conference.
“Currently, there is relative calm. Throughout the morning, more than ten private homes and some infrastructure have been damaged in our settlements. I want to particularly mention the bombing of the preschool in Aygepar. A water pipeline has been damaged in the Tavush-Nerkin Karmiraghbyur section, and restoration work is underway. Early in the morning, all civil defense groups in the region have been mobilized, and intensive work is ongoing in all areas of civil defense to ensure the safety of residents. We have declared internal mobilization, particularly concerning sheltering. At this time, our citizens have primarily been in shelters and basements, and fortunately, there are no injuries or casualties among the civilian population,” stated Chobanyan.
