Farewell to Captain Sos Elbakyan in Marmashen Village

Today in Marmashen village, they laid to rest Captain Sos Elbakyan, who lost his life in the line of fire from the enemy in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, reports Shantnews.

The 28-year-old officer, who served as the artillerist chief of the Defense Ministry's N military unit, chose the profession of a soldier after completing school. Following his graduation from the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy, he was deployed to border positions in the Tavush region.

Sos Elbakyan was the youngest child in his family and was not married. By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Captain Sos Elbakyan was posthumously awarded the Medal of Valor.
