Condition of Child Who Fell from 4th Floor in Gyumri Rated as Extremely Serious

Georg Derdzyan, the spokesperson for the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center, reported on his Facebook page regarding the condition of a 6-year-old child who fell from the 4th floor of a building in the 8th military district of Gyumri.

The child initially was transferred to the Austrian Hospital for Mother and Child in Gyumri, and later was transported to Yerevan by ambulance to the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center. The child has sustained multiple injuries, including skull fracture, intracranial hemorrhage, rib fractures, compressive fractures of the vertebrae, abdominal injuries, and other traumas. The condition is rated as extremely serious. The child is in a coma and connected to a ventilator. He is currently located in the intensive care unit.
