Bomb Threat at Mega Mall Armenia Leads to Evacuation of 1800 People
The National Crisis Management Center received a call on July 16 at 11:31 AM regarding a bomb planted at the Mega Mall Armenia shopping center. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
In response to the threat, two fire and rescue teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan, along with an operational group from the Department for Organization of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Works, the engineer-sapper unit of the Civil Defense Administration, and a rescue group from the Special Operations Center of the Rescue Forces Administration were dispatched to the scene.
Rescue officials, police, and security personnel carried out the evacuation efforts, successfully evacuating 1800 individuals from the shopping center.
