74-Year-Old Driver Crashes LADA into Fence and Falls into Resident's Yard; Injured Spouses Taken to Hospital

Today, July 10, an accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 10:30 AM, 74-year-old S. Harutyunyan, a resident of Gladzor village, lost control of his LADA car (model VAZ 217030) on Avagyan Street in Yeghegnadzor and veered off the road under unknown circumstances, landing in the property adjacent to house 18 on the same street.

As a result of the accident, both the driver, S. Harutyunyan, and his passenger, 69-year-old M. Harutyunyan, also a resident of Gladzor, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the 'Hrazdan' Medical Center.

Emergency response teams from the Vayots Dzor regional rescue service promptly arrived at the scene. Medical personnel from the Yeghegnadzor Medical Center extracted the driver and the passenger from the vehicle and brought them to an ambulance.

According to sources, the injured are spouses, and after receiving necessary medical assistance at the Yeghegnadzor Medical Center, they were transferred to 'Erebuni' Medical Center in moderate condition.

Traffic police also arrived promptly, and materials regarding the incident are being prepared.
