Tragic Incident in Yerevan: 3-Year-Old Boy Struck by Car in Vahagni Neighborhood Dies
A tragic incident has occurred in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a 3-year-old boy was transferred to the Armenia Medical Center, where he sadly passed away without regaining consciousness.
The child was taken to the hospital from the Vahagni neighborhood after being struck by a vehicle driven in reverse by a driver with diplomatic license plates.
The driver transported the child to the hospital. Currently, officers from the Yerevan Traffic Police are arriving at the scene.
A team from the Investigative Department of the National Investigative Committee of Armenia, led by department head Artashes Vanyan, deputy head Samvel Samvelyan, and senior investigator Andranik Parsadanyan, is also present at the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated by A. Parsadanyan under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code.
The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the deceased and the driver.
