The Fire Near Vorotan Village Has Been Extinguished, Approximately 30 Hectares of Vegetation Burned
The National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report on July 8 at 13:16 that a grassy area near Vorotan village was on fire. This was reported by the Ministry's Information and Public Relations Department, stating that an operational group from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Syunik regional rescue department, along with three firefighting units, responded to the scene.
The fire was contained by 17:35 and fully extinguished by 20:17. A total of 33 rescue workers participated in the firefighting efforts. Approximately 30 hectares of vegetation were burned.
