28-Year-Old Woman Steals Bank Card from Retired Neighbor and Withdraws 300,000 Drams
On July 6, officers from the Mashtots Police Department received operational information indicating that a 28-year-old woman had committed theft from her retired neighbor's home in the Ajapnyak administrative district. Preliminary reports suggest that she stole a bank card from a drawer, which included the PIN, and subsequently withdrew 300,000 drams from an ATM in the district.
As a result of the operational data, the suspect was located and taken into custody at the Mashtots Police Department around noon on the same day. She has provided a confessing statement. Efforts are underway to recover the elderly woman's bank card. The investigation is ongoing.
