Car Hits Animal and Ends Up Off the Road: Casualties Reported

The National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident that occurred on July 5 at 13:48 near the village of Draxhtik.

A firefighting and rescue squad from the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 25th km of the Chambarak-Tsovagyugh highway, a "Mazda" vehicle (driver: Alexander M., born in 1995) hit an animal and ended up off the roadway.

Passengers Mher K. (born in 1997), Gor G. (born in 1998), and Davit K. (born in 1995) sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized at the Chambarak Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power source and shut off the gas cylinder valve.
