Two Children Drown in Sarsang Reservoir: Artsakh Emergency Services

On July 3 at 21:20, the Martakert regional division of the Emergency Situations Service received information regarding two minors from the village of Verin Horataq in the Martakert region, identified as E.A. born in 2009 and D.D. born in 2006, who had drowned in the Sarsang Reservoir.

Search and rescue operations have involved the personnel of the Chapar area rescue team. The body of E.A. was discovered in the reservoir and transported by ambulance to the Getavan area hospital.

Rescue swimmers from the special response unit of the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service, as well as rescuers from the Martakert emergency rescue division, have also responded to the scene. D.D. has not yet been found, and rescue operations are ongoing.
