Tragic Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: Driver Dies

Today, on July 3rd, a car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At around 00:10, a 49-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, Shahen A., while driving a ZIL truck, deviated from the roadway under still unclear circumstances on the 22nd km section of the Tsovagyugh-Shorja-Vardenis road, collided with a metal fence located in the left side of the road, and ended up in a field.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Shahen A. was transported with bodily injuries to the “Sevan” medical center. The site reports that shortly after the accident, Shahen A. died in the hospital, and the materials prepared by the investigator regarding the incident will be transferred to the Gegharkunik regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
