Days ago, the police received a call from Ameriabank regarding a case at the Ameriabank branch located in the Megamall shopping center on Gayi Avenue in the Nor Nork administrative district. A citizen reportedly exchanged a significant amount of euros there.

Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Nor Nork police station were dispatched to the scene, where it was determined that an unknown individual exchanged euro currency amounting to approximately 2 million 950 thousand AMD, and all the euros were counterfeit.

The Nor Nork police are conducting necessary operational and investigative measures to locate the counterfeiter. Investigative materials are being prepared at the Nor Nork police station regarding the incident.
