Rescue Teams Resume Underwater Search for Missing Citizen Who Disappeared 5 Days Ago
To resume the search for the missing citizen, an operational group from the Special Rescue Unit of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Gegharkunik Province set off on July 1 at 09:30 to the area adjacent to the "Arevik" resort zone in Sevan.
This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The search operations were suspended at 16:50 due to weather conditions, and the citizen has not been found.
It is important to recall that on June 26, at 13:04, the National Crisis Management Center received information that around 06:00 on that day, a citizen named Kolya P. (born in 1971) entered the lake for fishing by boat near the "Arevik" resort zone and did not return.
Daily underwater search operations conducted from June 26 to 30 by the rescuers of the Special Rescue Unit of the Emergency Situations Ministry have concluded without success, and the citizen remains unfound.
