Two Injured in Tashir Accident Have Died
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia reports that on June 23, at 22:55, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident in Tashir city, in the vicinity of the gas station on Yerevan Street, with casualties involved.
A firefighting unit from the Lori Regional Rescue Department of the MES was dispatched to the scene. It was found that two vehicles, a "VAZ-2107" (driver: Hambardzum D., born in 1967) and a "Nissan Pathfinder" (driver: Khachatur H., born in 1991), had collided, resulting in the Nissan Pathfinder overturning.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, five injured individuals were hospitalized at Tashir Medical Center. The driver and passenger (Aida O., born in 1974) of the VAZ-2107 have died.
The rescuers cordoned off the area, disconnected the vehicles' power supply, and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
