Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Raffi Street
On June 19th, at 17:23, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that an accident occurred on Raffi Street in Yerevan, near a church, resulting in a pedestrian being hit.
A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a BMW 523 car (driver: Gevorg Ch.) had struck Anahit E. (born in 1952), who had been taken to Astghik Medical Center before the rescuers arrived, where she unfortunately succumbed without regaining consciousness.
Emergency medical personnel provided the driver with appropriate medical assistance, and there was no need for hospitalization.
