Rainwater Flooding in Vanadzor Homes
On June 17, at 20:31, the National Crisis Management Center received information that rainwater was flooding residential shacks in the "Ukryshin" settlement of Vanadzor. Assistance from rescuers was necessary.
An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Lori regional rescue department, along with three fire-rescue units, was dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers managed to evacuate four residents from one of the shacks and transported them to building No. 99 on Zoravar Andranik Street. They created barriers using sand bags, redirected the flow of rainwater, and carried out drainage operations from the shacks.
