Ruben Melikyan Detained, Sustains Injuries
The police have detained human rights defender Ruben Melikyan near the NSS building. "I was arrested roughly. I have injuries," Melikyan wrote on his Facebook page.
The rights defender has reported that the injuries are minor. "A few light blows, a slight scratch on my leg, and my big toe got caught under the door," Melikyan noted.
He added, "I ask lawyers to visit the stations. One detainee seemed to have fainted."
