Gold Ring Disappears from Deceased Woman's Finger During Ambulance Transfer Amid COVID-19
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the Kotayk division of the police is preparing materials regarding a complaint from 24-year-old Vazgen V., a resident of the Kotayk region.
Vazgen reported to the Kotayk police that on June 11, around 7:30 a.m., his 69-year-old grandmother passed away from a coronavirus infection at a hospital in Yerevan. During the wrapping of her body, it was noted that she was wearing a gold ring on her finger. Subsequently, the body was transported by ambulance to the national center for the fight against tuberculosis in Abovyan, where the coroner, A., informed him that the ring was missing from the deceased’s hand and provided a photograph of the hand as evidence, showing that the ring was indeed absent.
According to the website, Vazgen V. stated that they did not report the incident to the police earlier as they were busy preparing for the funeral.
