Drugs Discovered in Medicine Container Brought for Incarcerated Individual

On March 12, around 15:15, employees of the Armenian Ministry of Justice's "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution conducted a search on the medication brought by citizen S.M. for incarcerated individual N.P., based on operational data. During the search, 1.87 grams of a substance resembling heroin was found in the compartment of a container marked "Cardiomagnyl," along with two white powder-like substances weighing 3.00 and 3.05 grams that looked like methamphetamine. Additionally, a yellowish, suspicious substance weighing 2.73 grams was found inside the seal of a "Vitamin C" container.

This information was reported by the Penal Service. Materials related to the incident are being prepared, and a forensic chemical examination has been appointed.
