We Have Relatively Stable Bed Fund Load: Torosyan
Yesterday, the number of newly recorded cases reached 566. This was reported by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia during the government's session.
"This is, of course, a significant increase in absolute terms, but we must also note that the number of tests has increased by approximately the same percentage. A total of 2,233 tests were conducted, compared to 1,751 the previous day. Unfortunately, I must report that we have 18 deaths. Thus, the total death toll rises to 245. We have relatively stable pressure on the bed fund. Overall, we have had about five hundred patients in critical and severe condition, but I can state that there have been free spaces in the main intensive care units for patients in need of such care," said Torosyan.
Referring to the number of patients requiring hospitalization, Torosyan informed that as of 9:00 AM, there are 32 citizens who need hospitalization. Four of them are at home, while the others are in different hospitals but need to be transferred to coronavirus departments or hospitals.
