Results of the State Revenue Committee's 18th Measure for Mitigating Economic Impact of Coronavirus
The State Revenue Committee reports that the 18th measure aimed at neutralizing the economic impact of the coronavirus has essentially been completed, with the deadline for applications being June 10, 2020.
“Within the framework of this measure, the Committee has examined the monthly income tax and social payment calculations of 51,328 taxpayers. According to the tax calculations for February and March, a potential beneficiary (with 2-100 employees) could have been 25,031. Following an assessment of their calculations for April, 12,227 individuals or around 49% have been deemed beneficiaries and notified,” the Committee's statement reads.
As of June 11, 2020, 11,708 applications had been submitted for receiving support, accounting for about 96% of those classified as beneficiaries. The Committee has processed all applications, and approximately 2.1 billion drams have been allocated.
