Coronavirus Detected Among the Head and Deputies of the Kosh Penitentiary
According to Tert.am, the head of the Kosh penitentiary, Manuk Poghosyan, along with four other members of the management team and an inmate, have tested positive for coronavirus. The infection was detected the day before, and the officials are currently in isolation.
For further clarification on this information, Tert.am has reached out to Nona Navikyan, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Penitentiary Service. She stated, “I can inform you that five employees from the Kosh penitentiary have contracted the coronavirus, and they are in proper isolation. An inmate has also tested positive for the virus and has been isolated as well; all inmates have been tested, and their results are negative.”
