Larsi Remains Open Only for Freight Transportation Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of June 9 at 08:00, roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia are passable.

Regarding Larsi, according to information from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open only for freight transportation vehicles due to the state of emergency.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.
