Environmental Damage Exceeds 148 Million Dram, Regulatory Authority Reports
From March 9 to April 30, 2020, the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body reported a total of 196 cases concerning the preservation of plant life, resulting in calculated environmental damage of 148,710,812 AMD for 148 instances. Additionally, administrative fines totaling 11,165,000 AMD were imposed in 81 of these cases.
This information was provided by the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body.
During the same period, six cases related to the conservation of animal life were recorded, with four cases leading to a calculated environmental damage of 135,700 AMD, and two cases resulting in administrative fines of 130,000 AMD.
