Torosyan Discusses Coronavirus with Russian Health Minister
The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, has discussed the situation regarding the spread of coronavirus with the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Russian Ministry of Health.
Murashko held talks with his Armenian counterpart Torosyan, focusing on the situation concerning the spread of the coronavirus infection as well as issues related to the organization of medical assistance and the provision of medications, according to the statement.
The press service indicated that Murashko informed his Armenian colleague about the release of new methodological recommendations for coronavirus treatment and the registration of a new Russian-made drug intended for the treatment of COVID-19.
Torosyan noted that the summer and temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius in Armenia have not had a positive impact on the dynamics of coronavirus spread or the number of infections.
