Approximately 1.4 Million Applications Received Under the 9th Program to Mitigate Economic Effects of Coronavirus: Batoyan

Approximately 1.4 million applications have been received under the 9th program to mitigate the economic effects of the coronavirus, of which 723,000 have been subject to processing. Following the review of applications, support funds have been confirmed for 187,000 children, with more than 4.9 billion drams already disbursed. This was announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Zaruhi Batoyan, on her Facebook page.

“During this period, the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency has digitized and provided data on approximately 49,000 children to the ministry for the implementation of the program. Data for 3,800 children, which could not be identified so far (specifically, the connection between the child and the parent could not be confirmed), have been sent to the agency for further investigation,” she noted.
