COVID-19 Confirmed in Family of Child from Kindergarten No. 40, Who Had Contact with 15 Classmates
A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the family of a child attending Kindergarten No. 40 in the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan, leading to the closure of the group.
The press service of the State Inspectorate of Education informed NEWS.am that the child had been attending kindergarten during this time and had come into contact with 15 other children from the group.
Today, June 4, the inspectorate conducted an inspection at the kindergarten and is preparing to propose to the emergency situation headquarters to suspend the kindergarten's operations for a certain period.
However, the inspectorate reported that the children and educators from the affected group did not attend kindergarten today.
