Lukashenko Claims Belarus Made the Right Choices in COVID-19 Situation
Belarus made the right decision by effectively navigating the context of COVID-19 and not halting production, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko stated today. According to a report from the president's press service, the president held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss recommendations regarding the new composition of the republic's government.
“I have already said that the global crisis affects Belarus. It is good that we managed to get out of the situation without stopping production. If we had stopped, we would never have resumed that production. Such a thing could only happen in a fairy tale,” Lukashenko believes.
According to him, during this crisis period, it is crucial to maintain momentum, even if only slightly, and to work more actively, particularly in the economic sector, to exit this unexpected crisis with minimal losses for everyone.
