Citizen Expected to Participate in Tomorrow's Briefing, Says Mane Gevorgyan
It has been planned that a citizen who has been infected with and recovered from coronavirus will be present at tomorrow's briefing. This was stated today, June 3, during a conversation with NEWS.am by Mane Gevorgyan, the press secretary of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in response to a question about why a citizen infected and recovered from the virus was not present at today’s briefing, as previously announced by the Prime Minister’s Office.
“Considering that important decisions were made at the meeting of the commandant's office, we decided at the last minute to change things up and discuss the decisions recorded at the meeting. The Police Chief and the citizen were supposed to be present,” Gevorgyan said.
It is noteworthy that after participating remotely in the commandant's office meeting today, Nikol Pashinyan held a briefing attended by Police Chief Arman Sargsyan and Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan. Earlier, it had been announced that citizen Armine Karapetyan, who had contracted coronavirus along with her 12-year-old son and has now recovered, would participate in the briefing.
Recall that it was announced during the briefing that wearing masks will be mandatory in all public outdoor areas.
