Ani Samsonyan's Ex-Husband Embezzled Money Through Fraud
Sources have informed the "Joghput" newspaper that the former assistant of Alexander Arzumanyan, a former member of the National Assembly and the ambassador of Armenia in Sweden, has embezzled a significant amount of money from various citizens of Armenia through fraudulent activities. Among the victims are the secretary of the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly, Hakob Simidyan, MPs Hamazasp Danielyan and Hayk Konjoryan, the executive director of Public Radio Garegin Khumaryan, as well as several parliamentary staff members who previously worked with Movsisyan.
It is worth noting that Norair Movsisyan is the ex-husband of Ani Samsonyan, an opposition MP from the "Enlightened Armenia" faction. They have been divorced for over two years. As for how the fraudulent scheme unfolded, Norair Movsisyan, who was sometimes accompanied by his wife A. Samsonyan, presented to people that they had a business plan that required investment for potential high returns.
Movsisyan claimed they were engaging in trading, asserting that he would manage the investments and take full responsibility. People, trusting him, handed over their money, which he essentially pocketed and fled to the Russian Federation. He is now wanted by the authorities.
