SATM Conducts Monitoring and Repeated Visits in Yerevan
The State Food Safety Inspection Body's inspectors from the center of Yerevan conducted monitoring on May 28 and 29 in public catering establishments in Yerevan. Among these, there were organizations that received repeated visits to ensure compliance with the requirements and recommendations set by the decisions of the Armenian Prime Minister.
Two organizations were found to have committed repeated violations: “Gevorg Stepanyan” LLC (located in front of building 4, second district of Davtashen) and “Karas Group” LLC branch (27/2 T. Petrosyan St.). After receiving a warning and being suspended for 24 hours, these establishments continued operations without keeping a log of disinfection and did not properly wear masks; some employees underwent temperature checks only once.
Reports on these repeated violations have been submitted to the commandant's office. During the inspections, violations were also detected in several other organizations such as “Sinergy Europe” LLC (6/10 Northern Ave. 50), “Manvel Ter-Arakelyan” LLC (2 Northern Ave.), “Va-Ti” LLC (25 Teryan St.), “Parvana Lake” LLC (22/10 Hrazdan Kurch), “Meri Badalyan” LLC (21/1 Tumanyan St.), “Khurchin” LLC (21/1 Tumanyan St.), “Fastfood” LLC (2 Northern Ave.), “Father and Son Yeremyans” LLC (22.2 Tumanyan St.), and “Berliner Wurst” LLC (36 Tumanyan St.) which were lacking bins for gloves and masks.
There were no closed bins for gloves and masks near the general entrance, restroom, and kitchen entrances, a thermometer was absent, and temperature checks for customers and employees were either not conducted or were incomplete. There were no records for employee temperature checks, necessary distances between tables and individuals were not maintained, and records of disinfection were absent.
All reports of violations have been submitted to the commandant's office. In total, as a result of inspections carried out by the inspection bodies for violations of the norms set by the commandant, the activities of 1,156 organizations have been suspended for 24 hours so far, with a total of 17,572 inspections conducted.
