Recent Anti-Armenian Articles Published in International Press

During a Q&A session with the Government two days ago, I inquired about what our foreign affairs ministry is doing in response to the increasing anti-Armenian propaganda from Azerbaijan in the international media. This was mentioned by Taron Simonian, a member of the 'Bright Armenia' faction, on his Facebook page.

"As was expected, instead of a response, we received only justifications and accusations directed at us. In the last two days, prominent international newspapers have published new anti-Armenian articles, and our reaction (whether through the diplomatic corps or other means) is again absent or very weak. I repeat, we need to be more proactive; we should not wait for anti-Armenian actions from Azerbaijani or Turkish lobbying before reacting. And if such actions occur, we should respond tenfold. We should not just justify ourselves or try to blame the other side for asking such questions, but understand our mistakes and correct them quickly. In this area, more than in others, we need unity and organized efforts," the parliament member wrote.
