Fake Bomb Threat at Zvartnots: Identity of Caller Revealed

On May 28, at 01:15, the operational management center of the Yerevan city police received a report from an unidentified citizen claiming that a bomb had been planted at the "Zvartnots" airport.

Responding operational teams determined that the report was unfounded.

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures taken by the police, it was revealed that the false alarm was made by a 32-year-old resident of the village of Sardarapat in the Armavir region. He was apprehended at 06:00 on May 28 in the city of Talin and taken to the police department at the "Zvartnots" airport.

Materials are being prepared for further action.
