Car Rolls 10 Meters Down Slope Near Getik River Along Chambarak-Ttujur Road

On May 28, at 22:37, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident near the village of Ttujur, indicating that there were injuries. A firefighting and rescue unit from the Gegarkunik regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was discovered that at the 10th kilometer of the Chambarak-Ttujur road, a Nissan Xterra vehicle (driver: Samvel Gh., born in 1962) had veered off the roadway and rolled down approximately 10 meters to the shore of the Getik River.

Before rescuers arrived, the driver was extricated from the vehicle by local forces and transported to the Chambarak Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as moderate.

The rescuers disabled the vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
