Wholesale Price of Masks in Artsakh is 130 Drams: Information Headquarters

The Economic Competition Protection Division of the State Commission for Regulating Public Services and Economic Competition conducted inspections of 12 pharmacies operated by 7 economic entities in Stepanakert, which account for over 80% of the drug market turnover.

According to the information obtained from the inspections, various types of masks are available in the market, including medical, fabric (non-medical), imported, and locally produced (from the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh). The average purchasing price of these masks is 165 drams, while the average selling price is 203 drams, resulting in an average markup of 38 drams or 23%.

In Artsakh, masks are produced by the LLC “Pharm Product,” which has set its wholesale selling price at 130 drams. Additionally, an account of existing supplies and an examination of the production capacities of local manufacturers have confirmed that a deficit of masks is excluded.
