Ruben Hayrapetyan and 4 Others to be Detained

Ruben Hayrapetyan, his son, and his friends will face detention as a measure of restraint in connection with the criminal case regarding the illegal actions against the executive director of the "Harsnakar" restaurant-hotel complex, which include self-authorization, illegal deprivation of liberty, and infliction of severe physical pain and severe mental suffering.

Applications for the detention of 5 individuals, including Hayrapetyan, have been granted by the court. The investigative committee's main department for particularly significant cases is handling the investigation, which has involved 6 individuals as suspects in relation to the aforementioned events, with ongoing searches for the remaining suspects.

Earlier reports indicated that extensive investigative and procedural actions, along with operational measures undertaken by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Armenian Police, have clarified multiple aspects of the self-authorization inflicted by Hayrapetyan, his son, and their friends against the executive director of the restaurant-hotel complex owned by Hayrapetyan's family.

Investigations and other procedural actions are ongoing to ensure a comprehensive, objective, and multifaceted examination of the case.
