Man Working on Balcony Falls to Death

A tragic incident occurred in Shirak Province on May 26. Around 3:00 PM, the Kumayri police department received a call from an ambulance service in Gyumri, reporting that a medical team was transporting a citizen diagnosed with 'polytrauma' to the Gyumri Medical Center, where biological death was registered, according to Shamshyan.com.

Police and investigators found that the deceased was 72-year-old Ghevond Gasparyan, a resident of Gyumri, who lost his balance while working on the balcony of apartment 8 on the second floor of building 1 on Bagratuniants Street and fell, which led to his death.

According to sources, the deceased was performing construction work in an apartment owned by Margarita Minasyan, the director of the well-known 'Tsayg' television company in Gyumri. Her daughter is also a member of the National Assembly from the 'My Step' alliance, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
