The Governor of Kotayk Province, Romanos Petrosyan, made a post on his Facebook page announcing the upcoming guesthouse in Sevaberd and sharing photos from the location.
“In the high mountainous Sevaberd community of Kotayk, this guesthouse will soon begin operations, equipped to provide accommodation and meals for 35 guests with wide and modern capabilities. If you’re a professional in domestic tourism or a lover of mountain tourism, consider climbing Mount Ajdahak in the Geghama Mountains. The official opening will be soon,” wrote the governor, adding the hashtag #Come_to_Kotayk.
Sevaberd is located more than 2100 meters above sea level, with around 35 families permanently residing there, primarily engaged in livestock farming. The community has a secondary school with 18 students, and we carry out education with complete classrooms,” the governor stated.
