5-Year-Old Child Dies at Surb Astvatsamayr Hospital After Being Admitted in Critical Condition
A 5-year-old child died in the intensive care unit of Yerevan's Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center on May 25. Gevorg Derzian, the spokesperson for the hospital, reported this to Armenpress.
"An unfortunate incident occurred involving the child; a television (Soviet model) fell on him at home. The child was transferred from Masis Medical Center to Yerevan on May 20, unconscious, with bleeding, and in critical condition, having suffered severe cranio-cerebral trauma," Derzian stated.
He also emphasized that the death was not related to the coronavirus.
