Stabbing Incident in Hrazdan Revealed

On May 21, around 11 PM, the Hrazdan police department received a report from a medical center that a 27-year-old resident of the Central neighborhood in Hrazdan had sought medical assistance for a stab wound to the abdomen.

The law enforcement officers went to the hospital to document how and with what diagnosis the citizen was admitted. They spoke with him, but the injured party concealed the true circumstances of the incident, claiming that he had been injured after falling in the yard of a building. However, through further investigations, the police uncovered more details.

As a result of rapid and operational work, criminal investigation officers learned that on the same day, around 10:30 PM, during a dispute over domestic issues near one of the houses in the Vanatur neighborhood of Hrazdan, the victim had been stabbed by a 36-year-old resident of the same neighborhood.

At 11:40 PM, the suspect was detained and taken to the Hrazdan police department, where he provided a confessional statement. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being clarified, and the knife has been found. A forensic examination has been ordered. Materials are being prepared regarding the case.
