Spain to Open Borders for Tourists Starting July

Spain will open its borders to foreign tourists starting in July, announced Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, as reported by DW.com. He promised that the government would ensure the safety of both tourists and local visitors.

Sanchez also informed that a €3 billion minimum income scheme will be implemented in the coming weeks to support families most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Spain needs tourism, and tourism needs safety as a departure point and destination. We guarantee that tourists will not face dangers and will not pose a threat to our country,” stated the Prime Minister.

It is worth reminding that several European countries, including Spain, Italy, Greece, and Austria, are planning to open their borders to foreign tourists in the coming weeks.
