The citizens are calling on fellow Kapan residents to join their fight and are demanding that Syunik Governor Hunan Poghosyan come to answer for what they characterize as injustices and violence perpetrated by the police. In addition to the governor, they want answers from Deputy Governor Narek Babayan, as they believe that this entire situation has been organized by him. The citizens also made a political statement: “Narek Babayan must resign.”
