24-Year-Old Man Attempts Suicide from Victory Bridge, Negotiated by Prime Minister's Assistant

On May 20, at 16:00, the Crisis Management National Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call notifying that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the Victory Bridge in Yerevan. A firefighting and rescue unit from the Yerevan rescue service, along with a psychologist from the psychological support department, were dispatched to the scene.

The citizen's suicide attempt was successfully prevented. The psychologist, along with Suren Ghambaryan, the assistant to the Prime Minister, negotiated and managed to avert the suicide attempt of Razmik P. (born in 1996).
