Extraordinary Parliament Session Called: One Item on the Agenda
According to the decision of the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, an extraordinary session of the National Assembly will be convened at 11:00 a.m. on May 19, in accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Article 41 of the constitutional law on the "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly," upon the initiative of the Government.
The agenda includes only one item: "Amendments and Additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses," which will be discussed in the first and second readings.
The draft law proposes that violations of the conditions and requirements for free movement during a declared state of emergency based on an extraordinary situation will result in a fine set at ten times the minimum wage.
