Car Crashes into Concrete Barrier on Yegvard Highway: Injuries Reported

On May 18, at 21:11, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident with a fire outbreak near the "Gntunik" store on Yegvard Highway, with injuries resulting from the incident.

Two fire crews from the Special Fire Brigade of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Yerevan immediately responded to the scene. It was found that a "Mercedes-Benz E320" vehicle (driver: Mohammad I., born in 1979, a citizen of Iran) crashed into the concrete barrier along the roadside.

All four passengers of the vehicle were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the "Armenia" Medical Center, where medical professionals assessed their condition as satisfactory. Rescuers de-energized the vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
