Accident on Yerevan-Echmiadzin Highway: Sand-laden ZIL Turns Over

An accident occurred today, May 18, in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 16:30, vehicles collided on the Yerevan-Echmiadzin highway near 220 Yerevanyan street. The vehicles involved were a Range Rover with the license plate 77 FG 777, a ZIL 130 with the license plate 01 TL 909, and a trailer from an Iveco with the license plate 006 NO 61.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries as a result of the accident, but the sand-laden ZIL turned over and spilled its load. Witnesses at the scene told SHAMSHYAN.com’s correspondent that the ZIL was responsible for the accident, having initially crashed into a concrete barrier on the road, continued moving forward, turned over, and subsequently collided with the other vehicles.
