Over 40 Elderly Residents and Some Staff at Norq Residence Test Positive for Coronavirus
The spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, wrote on her Facebook page: “Over 40 representatives of the elderly living at Norq Residence, as well as some staff members, have tested positive for the coronavirus. This is, of course, a very dangerous outbreak considering the age of the patients and their underlying chronic conditions.”
“Doctors from St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center have been working on-site for the past two days to assess and monitor the health status of the patients. Starting today, arrangements are being made for their transfer to hospital facilities to ensure further treatment.”
