Yerevan Metro to Resume Regular Operations Starting May 18
According to a new decision by the Governor, starting May 18, there will be several changes to the restrictions in place due to the state of emergency. The ban on public transport operations will be lifted, as reported by the Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Metro.
Travel on the Yerevan Metro will be allowed exclusively with personal protective equipment, specifically masks and gloves. Passenger waiting areas will have designated personnel responsible for boarding and disembarking passengers, ensuring a swift, safe, and uninterrupted transport experience.
It is also emphasized that there will be a sufficient number of alcohol-based hand sanitizers available in the metro stations and all carriages.
Taking the above into account, we inform that the Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Metro will reopen on May 18 and will operate according to its schedule from 07:00 to 23:00. Stay healthy and safe.
